It was saddening to see Joe play his last game for City. Hart is set to leave on loan with Bravo's transfer from Barcelona. Can't imagine him playing anywhere other than city. It was nice to hear the appreciation for him from the fans at the ground. They were cheering,
"IF YOU LOVE JOE, STAND UP
IF YOU LOVE JOE, STAND UP"
He spend 10 years with 5 trophies and 4 PL Golden gloves. He was also awarded Etihad Player of the Month twice.
He said to the Eithad crowd that,
"I've had a lot of special nights playing football, but the feeling and emotion I felt tonight was unimaginable. Can't express how proud and greatful I am. What will be, will be but please know whatever happens. This will never be forgotten. Thank you #onceablue"
In my opinion, Hart should have stay. He has been in City for more than 10years. He was one of the best keeper of City.
His club mate Sergio Kun Aguero tweeted,
“Best of luck on the next stage of your journey, Joe! We shared unforgettable moments together at City"
I think Pep Guardiola is a genius but now there will be a huge pressure on him for Joe Hart replacement. All eyes will be on him. Pep Guardiola says he knows Joe Hart is a legend at Manchester City. He also added that, he can understand why supporters might be unhappy with his decision to replace Joe Hart, but he must make decisions and trust they are the right ones. I'm here to take decisions. I make a lot of mistakes all my career as a coach sometimes good decisions, sometimes bad. I can't deny what I feel. I was honest with Joe, the club and myself and that's what I always try to do. I would like if everyone was happy with all the decisions I take but that's impossible. The coach has to take decisions which influence the players' lives and that's not easy. We have 28 players, so 17 players are always not playing. Do you think they are happy with the coach? They are not happy about that.
I can completely understand if the fans are not happy. Joe did a lot with this club in the years he's been, more than I have done. I've only been here for one month, he's been here many years. I respect all of the guys here but I'm here and I have to take decisions and that's what I feel.
Beside Joe Hart, three other Manchester City players are also set to leave the club before the transfer window shuts.
On the other hand, Barcelona wanted to keep hold of Claudio Bravo this summer but the goalkeeper was desperate to join Manchester City . Roberto Fernandez, the club's sporting director, has admitted they wanted to sign a new deal with Claudio Bravo but he wanted to move to the Etihad Stadium. (Wow that’s City :p)
In the end as a huge fan, I just wanna say to him,
"Thanks for everything you have done for City, you should be here. But we will definitely be going to miss you, champ. Good luck for future. Hoping to see u in City shirt again."
